He is a member of The National Top 100 Trial Lawyers, whose membership is offered only to a select few of the most qualified attorneys from each state or region who demonstrate superior qualifications of leadership, reputation, influence, stature and public profile. He is also a Superlawyer, an honor awarded to lawyers who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement verified through independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.

When Paul is not working, he enjoys being with his family, playing tennis and guitar, hiking and watching baseball. He has also devoted many years as a volunteer Wish Grantor for the Make a Wish Foundation, helping to fulfill the wishes of children with critical illness.
